PEF received a letter on Jan. 26, 2024, that the Department of Civil Service sent to all members who experienced prolonged delays while attempting to take a Civil Service Exam at Lower East Preparatory High School in Manhattan on Oct. 21, 2023. Click here to read the letter. We have been told that it was sent to all affected members yesterday, but we are posting it in case someone didn’t receive it. PLEASE NOTE that there is a very short window for you to take action. Members must complete a questionnaire by Feb. 5 if they wish to retake an exam. Click here for the questionnaire.
