Clinical supervision is a vital educational process in which a learner obtains real-life and hands-on experience in the practice of psychotherapy. This virtual training will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. November 18 and is geared toward clinical supervisors at all stages of their career. The training will focus on the essential skills clinical supervisors need to guide the clinical supervisory process. The process ensures that supervisees who are in the process of forming their unique identity as psychotherapists are provided with the essential ethics, values, knowledge, and skills which will help guide and inform the care they provide their clients. In our complex, diverse, traumatized, and fast-paced world a strong foundation in clinical supervision has never been more important.
