This advanced virtual workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 28 will explore stages of healing, client self-care, interventions that work well with trauma survivors, and explore some of the popular trauma treatments.
Participants will identify the stages of healing and their meaning; assess if a client is ready to reprocess trauma; learn several interventions to use with trauma survivors; engage the client in healing through incorporating self-care practices; and be introduced to the basics of several popular evidenced-based trauma treatments.
(4 approved Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Master Social Worker continuing education hours.)
